Season 6 of Creating Magic Podcast

6 years. It has been quite the journey. This podcast started as a glimmer of an idea while walking the streets of Boston during Leakycon, and now we are going into season 6. There has been a lot of changes since we started. We began as a Harry Potter podcast, to focus on people in the community, as we grew we slowly snuck in episodes on some of the other things we loved. We changed co-hosts. We went from weekly to bi-weekly, we’ve started the process of adding video episodes. We’ve grown beyond just Harry Potter and more often than not the content we cover is rarely potter related.

We learned that we love covering events, talking about travel, interviewing people who love fandoms. We started a book club and are almost through the Maas-verse.

We took time to breath last year and are coming back better than ever, next week we will be back with Season 6 of Creating Magic Podcast.

On the other side of Creating Magic, we added a new podcast, Not the Droids and a new member to the team. Unlike Creating Magic, Not the Droids is focused purely on Star Wars and we release 2 episodes a week as we go through the Star Wars universe chronologically.

Throughout this year both podcasts will be covering a multitude of events, Enchanticon, Literary Ink, Star Wars Celebration, Emerald City Comic Con and a few others are up in the air.

We can’t wait to share everything we have in store and to grow this community and continue to be a positive force in fandom culture.
